Terms of Service
The short version. Magno is a tracking tool for adults, not a doctor. Your data is yours. Be honest with your account, don't abuse the service, and understand that every decision about your body is your own, made with a licensed clinician. If anything here is unclear, ask us at hello@theos.studio.
1. The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Magno ("we", "us"), based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the app at magnohq.pages.dev, including the installed home-screen version, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Magno.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. One account per person. You're responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.
3. What Magno is, and isn't
Magno helps you record and review your own health information: compounds and doses, injections, blood pressure, weight, symptoms and lab results. It exists to keep your records organized and easy to share with the people who look after your health.
It is not medical advice. Nothing in the app, including reference ranges, lab interpretations, "composite" scores, active-level estimates, charts, reminders and any text, is a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation or a suggestion to start, stop or change any medication or substance. Always talk to a licensed clinician before acting on anything you see in the app.
Estimates can be wrong. Active-level charts are simplified models, not measurements. Reference ranges vary between labs. PDF import can misread numbers, units or dates, so always check imported results against the original report. In an emergency, contact local emergency services, not the app.
Your decisions are yours. Some substances people track in Magno are prescription-only or controlled in many countries. You are solely responsible for following the laws where you live and for the decisions you make about your own health. Magno does not sell, supply, recommend or endorse any substance.
4. Your data
You own the data you put into Magno. You give us the limited permission we need to store, sync, back up and display it so the app can work for you. We handle it as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it or delete it, together with your account, from Settings at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use the service for anything illegal, or enter data about another person without their permission;
- try to break into, overload, scrape or disrupt the service, or access other people's accounts or data;
- share or resell your account, or bypass plan limits or payment;
- upload malware or anything that could damage the service or other users.
6. Free and Pro plans
The core of Magno is free. Magno Pro adds extra features, such as lab PDF import, deeper lab analysis, doctor-ready export and reminders. The exact features and prices are shown in the app and at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see your card details.
- Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel any time; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment that does not renew.
- Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before they take effect.
- Refunds. If something went wrong with a purchase, write to us and we'll make it right. Any refund rights you have under the law where you live are not affected.
- Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Magno fast and available, but we can't promise it will never be down or lose data. The app is local-first, so your data stays on your device even when offline, and you can export a backup at any time. We recommend keeping one. We may add, change or remove features, and may stop offering the service with reasonable notice. If we stop, you'll be able to export your data first.
8. Ending the agreement
You can leave at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms other users or the service, or where the law requires it. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
Magno is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the service will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. You use the app, and rely on anything it shows, at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or health outcomes, arising from your use of Magno. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to zero. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Magno after that means you accept the new terms.
